Pacific Coast Highway, Beverly Hills, CA
Perched on the dramatic cliffs of Beverly Hills, The Obsidian Villa represents a pinnacle of contemporary architectural achievement. The design intent was to create a structure that feels both grounded in the rugged landscape and weightless against the Pacific horizon.
Utilizing dark materials like charred Shou Sugi Ban wood and vast expanses of floor-to-ceiling glass, the home absorbs the abundant California sunlight while providing absolute privacy. The interior layout was carefully curated to blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living.
